Farrukh M. Adhami, MD

Dr. Adhami joined Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology in 2002. He has been involved in the developing and implementing highly successful cancer treatment guidelines and managing all aspects of hematology and oncology. Dr.Adhami served his residency through the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and his fellowship at the University of New Mexico.

Lakshmi Aggarwal, MD

Dr. Aggarwal is board certified in internal medicine, oncology, and hematology with a particular focus on breast and gynecological malignancies. Her focus is on creating personalized treatment plans for complex cancer patients. She’s currently leading many clinical trials in breast cancer and gynecologic malignancies. Dr. Aggarwal served her residency through the Medical Center of Central Massachusetts and her fellowship at Brown University School of Medicine.

Sunil Babu, MD

Dr. Babu is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. He is currently heading the clinical research program at FWMOH with a special interest in treating lung, breast and pancreatic cancer. Dr. Babu served his residency and fellowship at New York Medical College.

Matthew L. Carr, MD

Dr. Carr joined Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology in 2004. He treats people with all types of malignancy, although his special interest is in leukemia, lymphoma, breast, and brain cancer. Dr. Carr served his residency through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences and his fellowship at the Saint Louis University Cancer Center.

Shalini Chitneni, MD

Dr. Chitneni is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology with research interest in breast and gynecology based cancers. She is the lead primary investigator (PI) on immunotherapy with triple negative breast cancers. Dr. Chitneni served her residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center Massachusetts and her fellowship at the Breslin Cancer Center.

Michael Epstein, MD

Dr. Epstein joined Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology in 2002. He treats patients with a wide variety of solid tumors and hematological malignancies, with particular interest in lung and gastrointestinal-tract (esophagus, stomach, colon, liver, and biliary tract) cancers. Dr. Epstein served his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and his fellowship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Ryan Gonzales, MD

A graduate of Butler University and the University Of Santo Tomas Philippines, he completed a fellowship in oncology and hematology at Feist- Weiller Cancer Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Praveen Kollipara, MD

Yasolatha Nalamolu, MD

Sreenivasa R. Nattam, MD

Dr. Nattam has been in practice with FWMOH since 1981. His research interest is treating complicated hematologic malignancies including acute leukemia’s, benign hematologic disorders and bleeding disorders. He is the lead investigator of many clinical trials that focus on personalized, molecularly guided therapeutics. Dr. Nattam served his residency at the Illinois Masonic Hospital and his fellowship at the VA Hospital in Hines, IL.

Dolly Rosa Quispe, MD

Dr. Quispe is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. She has served as an assistant professor at the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center. Breast cancer treatment is a special area of interest. She is bilingual with fluency both in English and Spanish. Dr. Quispe served her residency at Henry Ford Hospital and her fellowship at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.

Charles J. Whalen, MD

Dr. Whalen is board certified in Internal medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology after training for all three at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He moved to Fort Wayne in January 2000 and since that time has had the true honor of helping patients and families through the treatment for their cancer or blood problem. One of the reasons he loves to practice at Fort Wayne Oncology and Hematology is the commitment they have to clinical trials which often help patients with cancer get the very best access to cutting edge treatment right here in their own home town.

David M. Zimmerman, MD

Dr. Zimmerman is board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine. He has an interest in malignant hematology and medical oncology as well as benign hematology. He is lead investigator on lymphoma trials involving activated b-cell lymphoma therapy. Dr. Zimmerman served his residency at St. Vincent Hospital and his fellowship through St. Louis University.
