Why Did You Choose Oncology?

I stumbled into oncology during my first job as a bedside nurse. I worked on a surgical floor and took care of patients with cancer who were treated surgically. I then took an interest in oncology and the many modalities that are used to treat patients who are diagnosed with cancer.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Working at FWMOH?

FWMOH offers specialized cancer care for the patient and a magnitude of support for the patient and their loved ones/support system. I enjoy the collaboration between my colleagues and the remarkable patients we care for.

What Excites You About the Future?

I can’t choose just one thing that excites me about the future of oncology. The constant development of new treatments is very exciting!
