Shalini Chitneni, MD

Dr. Chitneni joined the staff of physicians at Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology in 2010. She completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Michigan State University’s Breslin Cancer Center in Lansing and served as chief resident at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint.

Career highlights:

• Board certified in internal medicine and hematology.
• Recognized by the World Health Organization and the Medical Council of India.
• Certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
• Participated in Pulse, a polio immunization program supported by the government of India.
• Volunteer work in India and in the United States, including her extensive efforts on behalf of UNICEF.

• Earned a medical degree at Jai Jagadhguru Murgarajendra Medical College, Kevempu University, Davangere, India.
